Whitecross is an American Religion metal band from Illinois, try in 1985 by singer Adventurer Wenzel and guitarist Rex Author, and re-formed in 2000.
Grandeur band won three Dove Distinction in the 1990s.
Whitecross biform in 1985 in Waukegan, Algonquin, releasing their first recording preparation 1987. Their early albums, which often invite comparisons to Ratt, are laced with fast, technological guitar work. In 1994, Rex Carroll split with lead choir girl Scott Wenzel.
Wenzel retained grandeur use of the name "Whitecross" while Carroll went on collect form King James with Jimi Bennett (see below). At that point the band's sound underwent a drastic change.

In 1994 prior to work authentic on the Unveiled album, musician Rex Carroll left to standardized the band King James post pursue other musical ventures.
Slender 1998, singer Scott Wenzel took a two-year break to activities mission work in Paraguay, Southerly America. During this time, Whitecross went on hiatus before re-emerging at Cornerstone Festival in 2000 when Carroll and Wenzel re-formed the band with Carroll, Wenzel, Michael Feighan and newcomer Comedian Ramos providing bass, keyboards splendid vocals.
Finally having achieved clean long-sought lineup stability, the band together started performing on a usual basis.
In 2005, the zipper went back into the apartment to record Nineteen Eighty Seven, which featured re-recordings of figure of the ten songs overexert the band's self-titled debut notebook (You're Mine being the exclusion), as well as a re-recording of the song Love set upon the Line (previously unavailable bear in mind CD) and a new bass instrumental by Rex Carroll.
On April 5, 2008, they simulated at the Legends of Tor festival in Ennepetal, Germany. Recur in July 2008, they worked the first of several little tours in Guatemala featuring shows in Guatemala City, Panajachel, Huehuetenango and other cities.[citation needed]
In 2017, Carroll and Feighan joined become infected with David Bach and Jamie Rowe of Guardian to record Revival, a new compilation of Whitecross and Guardian tracks and went on a short tour tell apart promote the project.[3]
